The Heynneman European Family
In 1979, Paul Heynneman, an alumni of Bay Area service shops Sonnen BMW and BMW AutoZentrum, launched Heynneman European with the intention of offering owners of top marque automobiles a level of service and attention to detail that he felt could not be obtained at the large factory shops.
Paul Heynneman fills many roles at Heynneman European; he is founder and owner, service writer and diagnostician. He is dedicated to installing only top quality parts which are carefully selected to meet or exceed the original equipment on your car. Additionally he is committed to performing 100% best practice service procedures on all vehicles. These are but 2 of the ingredients which have led to the enviable Heynneman European reputation as the premier service facility in the North Bay.
Paul also co-founded a nonprofit charity with his wife to provide support and aid to children in Africa, with a current focus on building a vocational school in Northern Ghana. In his free time, he enjoys spending time in his garden and walking the beautiful hills of Marin and Northern California, and restoring cars.
Our staff has a over 70 years of collective experience and expertise in European auto repair. Our lead technician has worked with Paul at Heynneman European for over 15 years and is a Certified Advanced Automotive Technician and holds multiple certificates in BMW, Volvo, Volkswagen, Mercedes and Porsche diagnosis and repair. Our staff maintains MACS AC Licenses and continues to learn and pursue further certifications. We value honesty, integrity, attention to detail and strive to go above and beyond to provide the best possible service to our customers.
We are still growing and looking to the future and we enjoy attending training courses every year to stay current.
Our lead tehnician enjoys spending time with his young growing family, gardening, and working on creative projects.
